A little bit about our travel blog .. Growing up in Poland, I had the chance to see quite a bit of western Europe. I made my first trip across when I was 8 years old - we drove 1,335 miles from Poland to Barcelona, in a four-seater car with 45 horsepower.
I moved to United States in 1996 and I have lived in Massachusetts since then. My passion for travel took me all over Europe and lately, to places like Chernobyl, Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the summit of Kilimanjaro, and the Base Camp of Mount Everest. My husband, Wayne, turned out to be a great travel companion and usually doesn't complain when I come up with a more adventurous travel idea...
We put together travel tips, itineraries and reviews from our trips (and we hope to save you some time planning!) We organize our trips on a reasonable budget and try to get the most out of each trip (which means, at times we have a quite busy itinerary). I book with local companies, and I got pretty good at digging deep through travel forums, blogs, and comments sections to find great tour operators and stays. Several times we took a chance and wired money half-way across the world, hoping that the company would show up as scheduled. So far, we've had really good luck and met great people who made our trips and experiences unforgettable.
Feel free to check out the links - we do NOT get paid for recommending any of these companies and/or accommodations. We are recommending them because we had a great experience. Check back for new articles coming soon (Iceland - the Ring Road part III is next - we spent a week sleeping in a small van..)
